Over the past few weeks some thoughts have been tumbling around in my mind.  I’ll use this space to let them spill out.

  • Christians and non-Christians both face heart ache.
  • Christians and non-Christians both suffer loss.
  • Christians and non-Christians both get taken advantage of.
  • Christians and non-Christians both endure pain.
  • Christians and non-Christians both get sick.
  • Christians and non-Christians both have bad days.

Does this mean there are no differences in Christians and non-Christians? Hardly.  You see, Christians have the Holy Spirit to strengthen, guide, and comfort them.  Christians have a church family to pray for them and support them.  Christians have the assurance of salvation and the hope of heaven.

Jesus said that in this world we would have troubles, but he added “be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

One thought on “Christians and Non-Christians

  1. Of course there is a difference between Christians and non-Christians, for example with facing problems, Christians looks unto it as a blessing from God for them to be more strong while non Christians looks into it as a pure suffering.
