Title: The Gospel of Yes
Author: Mike Glenn
I will begin by saying that there are some great truths to be gleaned from this book. I underlined quite a bit and will go back and pick that fruit to keep, however I found the book on the whole to be a bit thin. The idea of “yes” did not appear to be sufficient to fill the pages. By the end of the book I found myself skimming the pages rather than dwelling on the words.
That is not to say that the book has no value. The overall idea is a sound one. The gospel is not about God saying “no” to us. It is a resounding “yes” in Christ. Perhaps using the book as a tool for discussion might be the best approach.
